Event description
Ideas League - Revitalise Your Town
Students are asked to come up with ideas to improve their borough - this could be through a product, a service, a technological innovation, a business idea, a major event and so on. Working in small teams with the support of a mentor they have to take this idea from concept to pitch, including solid research - via phones and interwebs and a clear, well-argued presentation. They need your help! Weymouth is the 3rd worst area in the country for social mobility and has the lowest average weekly wage in the UK!
