The event was created by Rebecca Cotter for 350 students at Ridgeway High School aged Age 14 - 16.

Event description

Come join our Careers Fair at Ridgeway School.I want to show as many opportunities to our students as possible to boost their aspirations

Business leaders from fast-growing local businesses can join career fairs all year round.

Companies will set up stalls in a space set up by the school and may bring business cards, leaflets or some technology to showcase to students. Students will have the opportunity to informally approach lots of different employers, talk to them personally and ask questions. It is important to note that there should be no expectations of any job opportunities being offered by business leaders at a careers fair but this is a great way for students to experience a wide range of businesses in their local community and for businesses to begin to build their talent pipeline.

There has always been a higher than average of people on the Wirral who are unemployed. I want to break that cycle and help support our students to educate them on the many opportunities they can have when leaving School.
