About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Beverly Lawrence for 200 students at St Claudine's Catholic School for Girls aged Age 14 - 15.

Event description

Come and Join our mock interview event to Inspire & prepare our students for their work experience placements.

Business leader will play the role of a head of 6th form/college who is interviewing the student for a place at their institution. business leaders hold mock interviews, which are an emulation of a job interview used for training purposes. The exercise usually resembles a real interview as closely as possible, for the purpose of providing a learning experience for students.

The event will take place in the school hall and the business leader will meet with business leaders one-to-one the same classroom hall. The mock interviews can range in the length of time depending on the group size. The key is that the students have a chance to prepare ahead of time and understand this is a great learning opportunity to practice their skills and build their confidence.
