Event description

'Get Work Ready' at Stevenage Education Support Centre; a centre for young people 'currently' permanently excluded from mainstream school.

Enterprise Activities are an interactive way for young people to develop their employability and enterprise skills. They also help to raise young people’s self-awareness of their own enterprise capabilities and their business and economic understanding.
For someone who may like the difference and the challenge; it is a morning where we work with small groups and deliver workshops, discuss careers and workplace needs and expectations.
Activities last a max of 35 mins.
Volunteers to assist in delivery of simple activities and tell the students about themselves.
Some young people engage with enthusiasm and a clear wish to be involved, others will be far more reticent until they feel they can 'do it'.
It is a brilliant learning environment where the staff are exceptional and want the very best for all the students, and we guarantee you will leave the morning wishing to do more, and knowing you have made a huge difference
