About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Palvinder Dulai for 50 students at St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy aged Age 14 - 15.

Event description

Inspire our students
(A Business in the Community organised event)

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

The Employer Supported Workshops are in the form of teacher-led sessions, with material tailored to specific year groups within secondary schools.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
