Event description

Mock Interviews to prepare students for life after GCSE's!

Nowadays, schools are realising that young people are often lacking the skills and confidence to step foot into the world of work and conduct a professional and successful interview. We have developed this event for students to get the chance to practice these skills with the help of our volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers that are confident in delivering interviews and can deliver some quick fire 1-to-1 interviews with a number of students to help prepare them for their next steps. During the time that you are at the school you will see approximately 12 students for 20 minutes each, with refreshments and breaks provided. As well as delivering the interviews, we ask that you give constructive feedback to each student so that they can learn about the interview process and how to improve their own interview skills. You will be provided with suggested questions and a feedback sheet to support you.
