Event description

Careers Talks to educate & inspire students

We are looking for support from representatives in various sectors who can share their successful career journeys with their Year 9 students at Countesthorpe Leysland Community College to give them an insight into different jobs and the skills needed. The hope is that they will leave the event with greater aspirations and more information about the possible routes open to them once they finish education.

We are looking for a 30 minute talk from each of the sectors below. This will be repeated to 4 different groups of students who will have chosen the talks that they want to attend before this event so they should be interested in your sector, meaning they will be engaged throughout. The sectors that the college would like to be represented are:
- Dance & Drama
- Education
- Medicine
- Sales & Marketing
