Event description

Learn to Earn - inspire students to work hard towards their dream career and lifestyle

Learn to Earn inspires students to take ownership of their life choices and think about the careers they can have and the qualifications they need to pursue them.
The programme inspires students and provides information on career options to help them make informed choices and prepare them for destinations and life beyond education.
Students engage in a range of hands-on activities including:
• role-play interviews
• Path2Success board game to help them understand how education is key to their future success and happiness.
We explore themes including career choices, personal skills and job interviews. Students explore the value of financial planning and developing budgeting skills but completing 2 budgeting activities, helping them better manage to stay debt free when on limited resources.
We would ask speakers to share their story with the students, spending 5-10minutes in each classroom (classes of appox 30 students) talking about themselves and their own career and education choices to help inspire the young people.
