Help Your Self Associates Limited
These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.
The event was created by Jane Shipley for 500 students at Marriotts School aged Age 14 - 18.
Come join our Careers and Apprenticeship Fair at Marriotts School, Stevenage October 23rd 2019
Business leaders from fast-growing local businesses can join career fairs all year round.
Companies will set up stalls in a space set up by the school and may bring business cards, leaflets or some technology to showcase to students. Students will have the opportunity to informally approach lots of different employers, talk to them personally and ask questions. It is important to note that there should be no expectations of any job opportunities being offered by business leaders at a careers fair but this is a great way for students to experience a wide range of businesses in their local community and for businesses to begin to build their talent pipeline.
The timings are 9.30 am - 4 pm, with the opportunity to park, be welcomed and set up stands and literature from 8.30am.
The main focus will be for students Yr. 9 - Yr. 13 and their parents, who will be invited at the end of the day, to visit the employer stands on the day, thus allowing your business to promote to young people close to the labour market.
There are several halls for use on the day, one specifically aimed at employers offering Apprenticeships.
This means, that you, therefore, have the choice, of whether you have a stand in the main hall, focussing on your company as an employer only, or in both halls, whereby the additional space is used to promote solely your organisation's Apprenticeship opportunities.
Please do let us know if you can make the event, and we will be back in touch, requesting your stand requirements and provide further details.
