Event description

Mock Interview Day - Year 11

We are holding a Mock Interview Day for year 11 and are looking for volunteers to support our event. In these sessions you would be conducting interviews, which are an emulation of a job, college or 6th form, or apprenticeship interview, used for training purposes. The exercise usually resembles a real interview as closely as possible, for the purpose of providing a learning experience for students. Students attend in business attire and basic questions have already been prepared for the volunteers to use. If you feel confident enough to ask your own questions then please feel free to do so.

The key is that the students have a chance to prepare ahead of time and understand this is a great learning opportunity to practice their skills and build their confidence.

Our students have taken taken part in a workshop titled "Introduction to Interview Skills" in which they conducted peer to peer interviewing and gained an understanding of a good and bad interview.

We want the students to learn but also have fun and enjoy the experience!
