The event was created by Cath Pheasey for 200 students at Crawshaw Academy aged Age 15 - 17.

Event description

Come join our event and inspire our year 11 & 13 students. Be part of our drive to raise aspirations & STRIVE for success

We run a successful speed networking event with Year 9, now we want to expand this for Year 11 & 13. This event is all about opportunities for progression, showcasing local employers, training providers and HE.
Companies will set up stalls in a lspace set up by the school and may bring business cards, leaflets or some technology to showcase to students. Students will approach all employers in groups of 5 to talk to them personally and ask questions. It is important to note that there should be no expectations of any job opportunities being offered by business leaders at a careers fair but this is a great way for students to experience a wide range of businesses in their local community and for businesses to begin to build their talent pipeline.
