Event description

"What's my job?" speed networking event as part of our Year 10 Careers Day - SESSION 2 (Multiple sessions in the day)

As part of our Year 10 Careers Day, all students will be taking part in a "What's my job?" speed networking type event. Our students will be split into groups of about 5-6 students and they will move between different business leaders on a "carousel"-style activity, where they will ask pre-prepared quick-fire questions. They will spend about 10 minutes with each business leader. The students are aiming to find out about the background of each business leader and finding out about the day-to-day life of each visitor.

We have invited business leaders from a variety of different sectors so that students are able to find out about a range of different career pathways.

The whole of Year 10 will be taking part (approx. 210 students) during the course of the day. It is a whole-day event, but we know that business leaders may not be able to attend for the whole day. Therefore, we have divided the day into 3 sessions. We hope that business leaders can attend at least one, or more, of the sessions. Please let us know which session you are able to attend:
Session 1: 09.15 - 10.50
Session 2: 11.05 - 12.45
Session 3: 13.25 - 15.05
