About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly. Combined they employ 3+ people.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Kelly Davies for 250 students at Witton Park Academy aged Age 14 - 15.

Event description

Inspire our students and motivate to achieve highly. We promote and embed in every area of learning the LORIC principles - Leadership, Organisation, Resilience, Initiative and Communication. Students have their own online portfolio to document and evidence these skills throughout there time at Witton Park Academy. Feel free to address these skills in your presentation.

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
