The event was created by Kelly Davies for 250 students at Witton Park Academy aged Age 13 - 14.

Event description

Inspire our students and motivate our learners into thinking about future options. We use LORIC principles - Leadership, Organisation, Resilience, Initiative and Communication across our school and are embedded in an online platform students use in all subject areas where they evidence what skills they have acquired over the time they are studying here and into college life.

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
