About the teacher and students

The event was created by Stephanie Anderson for 150 students at Richard Lander School aged Age 14 - 14.

Event description

Help inspire students on a Young Enterprise Learn to Earn programme which gives information, advice and guidance on career planning.

Students are helped to identify their dream job and lifestyle and learn about the relevance of their education.
Volunteer business leaders share insights and tips to motivate and inspire the students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers can 'tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
