Event description

Young Enterprise Fiver or Tenner Challenge

Young Enterprise’s Fiver or Tenner Challenge offers young people the opportunity to take part in an enterprise activity and develop their employability skills, personal knowledge and career readiness. Using real money, they have one workshop session to create a product or service to sell or deliver at a profit. Invite local Business Leaders into your classroom to prepare, support and inspire your students.

I am writing to check with you whether you or somebody from your team would be willing to come and spend the day at our school on Tue 11 June with our year 10 students (180 students in total). I'm arranging our Careers Day and thinking of arranging some external career related presentations throughout the day... in order to inspire and inform our students about your work sectors.

We were planning on having 3 workshops during the day (of the same content) but delivered to the whole cohort; so one workshop would be targeting 60 students. This is the planned timetable below, but please rest assured the students' tutors will be there to support the smooth running og the workshops, which we believe the more interactive and engaging - the better for the students.

Session 1: 08.30-10.20am
Session 2: 11.10-13.00
Lunch: 13.00-13.50
Session 3: 13.50- 15.35

Please let me know if you/your company are interested and are willing to support us in this activity - and then we can move on further with the rest of the discussions.

Thank you.
