Event description

Chace Community Schools' Careers fair

Inspire and educate our secondary school students, in a science fair designed to explore different areas of STEM and showcase the careers and opportunities available to them in the future.

This summer we will be holding our first STEM fair for secondary school pupils. This will be hosted at Chace Community School and will be open to other local secondary schools to attend. Pupils will take part in a range of activities, including a Robot Wars competition and the chance to meet with and speak to a range of science ambassadors within the STEM industry. As well as exposing the pupils to different areas of science, we will also integrate a careers element into the day, where pupils can learn more about the different careers available to them in science. We are looking for people within STEM industries to come and participate in our science day. You will have the opportunity to engage in the careers aspect of the day, as well as talk to the pupils about your journey into STEM. There will also be some opportunity to showcase your own work with a stand/stall during the day. As you can see this event will be very influential for our children and we feel it will give them an insight into the vast opportunities a career in science can achieve.
