Event description

Inspire our students - supporting a special needs school and some enthusiastic avid technology and gaming lovers.

Hi, We are a special needs school and we are very passionate about preparing our young people for adulthood and employment. The national average for people with additional needs to end up in paid employment is less than 10% hence the reason we are keen to work with you. We have students with a variety of learning differences, such as autism, dyslexic,ADHD (event will be supported by staff) etc. We are running a careers week at the end of the school year (first week in July). I have a large group of students that are very passionate about gaming and would like to explore whether this can be a future employment option. I would love the opportunity for our young people to speak with people in this field, as well as other ICT related jobs to make them aware of the wider industry.
We are looking for either a talk about the different work that you do, and how you got there, and/or a workshop on developing skills in this area. If you are unable to do this date but another date in this week please let me know.
