About the teacher and students

The event was created by John Riddell for 200 students at Middlesbrough College aged Age 16 - 17.

Event description

Inspire our students and raise their awareness of career opportunities.

Volunteers will be questioned about their jobs, by small groups of College students (16 to 19 years old), in a sequence of 7-minute “speed dates”. No prep required; the students are provided with suggested questions. The participating young people will be those that are looking to move into employment in the very near future
The morning session runs from 10:00 to 13:30
The afternoon session runs from 14:00 to 16:00
Lunch will be provided.
If you are participating all day, or the morning sessions only, please report to Main Reception between 09:15 and 09:45;
If you are attending for the afternoon sessions only, please report to Main Reception between 13:30 and 13:45.
