Event description

Future Pathways Day

We are hosting a school careers fair at Balfron High School for our senior students on Wednesday 5th of June from 11.00 am until 3.30 pm. These students will be looking to apply for higher and further education in 2020, so having a feel for the career options available to them or what important aspects they need to consider to succeed in their preferred choice will be of great value to them.
I am looking for representatives from a variety of industries that are prepared to come along and speak informally to small groups of students for about 5-10 minutes at a time. Highlighting details about a career, a career path and what skills and educational requirements would be needed to work in a specific industry or occupation. Alternatively, you may be able to talk about the variety of jobs opportunities within your organisation and what sort of qualifications would be needed.

There will be a wide variety of parents, students and others partners of the school available to speak to our young people about their future pathways during this event.
