Event description

'Finding your Future' at Harrow Way Community School

The programme ‘Finding Your Future’ is a whole school holistic programme that connects young people with relevant role models, who, through sharing their experiences, will support students in finding their own futures and understanding longer term career progression.

Ambassadors will be supported to work in the classroom with students to deliver a series of workshops exploring career opportunities, the labour market and skills for career success. There will be opportunities for ambassadors to share their own experiences of higher education, the world of work, assessment centres, the skills and qualities that are valuable to develop in preparation for higher education and/or the workplace.

Ambassadors will be invited to a training webinar in advance of the session to understand more about the content and what is expected of them. It will also be a great opportunity for ambassadors to meet and network with other local business ambassadors.
