Event description

Young Enterprise Tenner Challenge - Year 12 Motivated Students

We are running the Tenner Challenge for the very first time, students impressed during an internal marketing presentation judged by our Headteacher and are very much looking forward to the Tenner Challenge. We are based in a deprived area and so most school trips we have tried to organise in Business don't run as we don't get enough students paying to enable the trip to go ahead. This is why having the chance to have a visiting speaker is so exciting, students will get to hear from someone working in the business world for the very first time.

It would be wonderful if you could talk to the students about your role in the business you work for, how you knew what career you wanted and the recruitment process involved and how you prepared for it. If you are able to talk to students about any projects you were involved with and the contribution it made to the business and your career. It would be great to take some questions from students and talk to them about their ideas on the Tenner Challenge and how they could be improved. For this section we could ask students to sit in their groups and you could pop round to each group to give them some of your advice.
