Event description

Kelmscott School Professional Speed Mentoring

We are holding a Professional Speed Mentoring Q & A session on Tuesday 12th March 2019 and would like to invite you to attend in you capacity as either a successful male or female in your chosen career, or in a predominately male or female organisation to demonstrate the scope of opportunities available to our boys and girls.

The aim of the day is to encourage our boys and girls to aspire to professional careers by meeting successful and professional men and women from a wide range of industries and organisations.

The structure of the day is as follows:

P1 8.50-9.50 Year 7 and Year 8 More Able Pupils
P2 9.50-10.50

Morning break

P3 11.10-12.10
P4 12.10-1.10 Year 9, 10 and 11 students
Lunch break
P5 2.05-3.05 Year 9, 10 and 11 students

Our boys and girls will be given approximately 5 minutes to ask each guest questions about the path they took into their roles, qualifications needed and any other useful information e.g. volunteering/ internships etc.

Guests can arrive from 8.30. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

We are hoping that all our guests would be able to attend the whole event, but if this is not possible then we would ask for their availability, contact details and job title.

For each guest we prepare name cards detailing job title and organisation, if applicable, so would appreciate your confirmation of this information.
