The event was created by Lyn Lockhart for 100 students at St Mark's Primary School (Rutherglen) aged Age 8 - 11.

Event description

Helping Us to Discover the World of Work : Planning for Our Future

We are a Primary School hoping to inspire our children to begin to plan for the World of Work and demonstrate how skills learned now are leading them to towards developing the skills for a future career. The event would involve talking to classes about what a typical day in your career is like, the path you took to get there and the skills and qualities needed to do the job. The sessions would be roughly 30 - 40 mins in each class from Primary 5 to Primary 7 with time included for a question and answer session with the pupils.
