About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Christopher Perry for 25 students at Cheadle and Marple Sixth Form College aged Age 16 - 17.

Event description

My students are 6th Formers studying a full time Level 3 IT Course.

We are having a Careers Day and want to combine input from successful people in business with recent ex-students during the day.

For this event I need a business leader who can ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Why they find it high impact
• What they enjoy most about their career
• What subjects did they study and what decisions did they make along the way
• What mistakes did they make and how did they learn from them
• What skills is their company currently looking for in their new hires

They will take students through their entire journey and reflect on their successes and failures in the world of employment. There will also be a Q&A session so that students can ask their own questions.

These meaningful encounters inspire students and have a positive impact on their future life choices.
