Event description

S2 Industry

Bringing sectors and jobs to life and inspire young people to consider their career options and raise aspirations through offering real insight regarding daily duties of a specific job or talking about a day in the life in a particular sector.
S2 Industry Day,
Here at Castlemilk High School we are hosting an S2 Industry Day .The format of the day will work as stands where the pupils will have timed intervals to visit each employer
Ideally what we would like pupils to hear about is
•what working in your sector involves?
•what are the routes into your business?
•qualifications required?
•job opportunities within the industry?
As it will be with S2 we are really just hoping to broaden their understanding of all the different types of industries out there in which they could work and inspire them to think beyond the usual career choices they see advertised.
You are welcome to bring any pop-up displays and leaflets you have to advertise your company or activities that they could do in a short turn around (roughly 5-10 minutes).
