Event description

Inspiring the next generation of Science and Technology workforce

We are running an event, primarily for S2 pupils and their parents/carers, where pupils are introduced to a variety of careers in the science and technology sectors that they were not aware of. We are looking to inspire and enthuse them, and show them that the sciences they study in school can lead to rewarding and life enriching possibilities. We need to show them that they are the innovators of the future, and the world is theirs for the taking!
We will also open up the event to our upper school pupils, who are currently studying the sciences, to give them new ideas for their future study/ career pathways. I feel that these pupils need to see that there are so many different paths in the world of work, and they don't need to stick to the 'tried and tested' careers that are commonly talked about.
