About the teacher and students
The event was created by Lucy Baker for 50 students at Beechwood Junior School aged Age 10 - 11.
Event description
Our event is to inspire and motivate our 10 and 11 year olds. Each speaker would talk twice and the children would sign up to the speaker.
In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
