Event description

S2 Careers Insight Event - morning only

As an industry representative from one of the key employment sectors, I would like to invite you to take part in our brand new ‘Careers Insight Event’ for S2 pupils at Linlithgow Academy.

As a school we understand the need to prepare our pupils for the world of work and want to give out pupils the opportunity to engage with industry insiders to get a flavour of the world of work.

We recognise pupils have much to gain from speaking to employers and to ensure that our pupils are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to progress into a positive destination after education.

Our main objectives for the event are for you to share the following information with our pupils:
• The skills needed for young people to be successful in the workplace.
• What range of job opportunities are available within your industry sector.
The information can be shared via discussions, interactive tasks / games, stories of success, really whatever way of communicating you feel is best.

The event will take place on Wednesday 14th Nov from 9.25am to 11.15am and take the format of speed career sessions, where you will speak to x22 S2 pupils for x4 20 minute sessions . You will be given your own classroom area.

Access to the school is available from 8:40am.

On behalf of Linlithgow Academy, I would like to thank you in advance for your support.
