Event description

DYW Day

Here at St Kentigern’s Academy we are continually looking to move forward in approaches to developing the young workforce of Scotland. We are now looking at inviting employers and businesses to work in partnership with us and offer a Developing the Young Workforce day.
We would like to invite you as a guest to help deliver these workshop or information sessions to help support our young people in preparing for the workforce. This is another aspect of our plans to ‘Develop the Young Workforce’ and offer a variety of learning pathways for our young people.
As a business, we would hope you could offer either a workshop or an information session, lasting no more than thirty minutes, focusing on skills and qualities etc. required for the world of work. Our aim on this day is to raise awareness within our young people of what employers are looking for, give pupil’s opportunities to look attractive to employers and the school further establishes links with employers and industry.
