The event was created by Laura Lowden for 50 students at St Ninian's RC Primary School aged Age 10 - 10.
Event description
Inspiring careers through Maths
Bringing sectors and jobs to life and inspire young people to consider their career options and raise aspirations through offering real insight regarding daily duties of a specific job or talking about a day in the life in a particular sector.
We are having a week focusing on Maths and thought this would be a great opportunity to highlight what careers Maths can potentially up doors to. After this our plan would be to have a rolling programme for our senior pupils (P7) of inspiring leaders coming in to talk with the children throughout the course of the year, culminating hopefully in a 'Caeers Week' for the whole school in the Summer Term.
