The event was created by Emma Ward for 150 students at Deans Community High School aged Age 15 - 16.

Event description

S4 Deans Community High School Employability Morning

We would like to invite employers/business leaders from various industries to conduct mock interviews, which are an emulation of a job interview used for training purposes. The session will resemble a real interview as closely as possible, for the purpose of providing a learning experience for students.

These interviews will take place within the school, and consist of 3 basic interview questions.

The key is that the students have a chance to prepare ahead of time and understand this is a great learning opportunity to practice their skills and build their confidence.

We have run this event in the past with great success and the pupils who took part gained extremely valuable feedback and guidance on their chosen career.
