Event description

Dixons Kings Academy Careers Fair 2018

An opportunity for all Dixons Kings Academy students from Year 7 to Year 11 to find out more about careers and courses that might be open to them in the future at the annual careers fair. This forms part of careers fortnight, which aims to inspire students to aim high and consider a diverse range of careers and routes open to them.

The event will offer an exciting opportunity for our students to find out about the courses and career pathways available to them in the future. It will also be an ideal chance to promote the opportunities that your organisation has to offer our students.

Arrival will be from 9:30 and stands will need to be ready for students to visit from 10:30. The event will finish at 13:30. Students from Year 7 through to Year 11 will visit the careers fair at various times during the morning.

We envisage that students will talk to representatives from your organisation about the different courses, training and careers opportunities that you have to offer, and ask any questions they may have about entry, training or employment. A networking lunch will be provided for exhibitors at 13:00 and interested students will have a further opportunity to spend time talking with exhibitors.
