The event was created by Saqib Malik for 150 students at Rockwood Academy aged Age 14 - 14.

Event description

Inspire our students with a careers base assembly. Enable out students to experience an insight into the world of work.

A successful business leader can inspire a group of students by talking in-depth about the journey they took from school through their career. This format usually includes one business leader talking for an extended period of time.

A business leader can ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Why they find it high impact
• What they enjoy most about their career
• What subjects did the study and what decisions did they make along the way
• What mistakes did they make and how did they learn from them
• What skills is their company currently looking for in their new hires

Deliver an assembly to our year 9 pupils, inspiring them to think about the world of work and how they need to start preparing for it now.
