The event was created by Hayley Cleland for 50 students at Thornhill Primary School aged Age 6 - 11.
Event description
Inspire our students
We are holding a developing the young workforce event with a key focus on financial awareness. Our event will take place on the week beginning 12 November. We are looking for people to speak with and inspire our young people and would like to arrange visitors throughout the week.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
