Event description

Inspire our students

We are looking to hold a 'World of Work' day on Wednesday 26th September 2018. We are trying to get a variety of businesses and individuals to attend the school between 1:30pm - 3:00pm to allow the pupils to ask them some questions about their jobs, skills, qualities and qualification required.

I was wondering if you would be prepared to assist us in promoting this event and perhaps coming along on the day?

We are a local school in North Lanarkshire but for this event to be a success, we would rely on the support of businesses. We envisage the afternoon to work in a speed-rotation - with small groups of pupils asking pre-prepared questions for about 5 minutes, then rotating to the next business/employer.

We may also look for some presenters to speak to junior and infant classes.

Any support you could give us would be very much appreciated, the children really do gain a lot from this experience. We would be thrilled if someone was prepared to come along to the event.
