Event description

Inspire our students on Ada Lovelace Day!This is taking place in Maths Week.

Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration of the achievements of women in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). It aims to increase the profile of women in STEM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEM careers.

Invite an inspiring business leader into school to speak to your pupils about their personal journey within the field of STEM and the different career opportunities within science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Show that mathematics is used in many different roles in society and being numerate is a skill that employers look for in their staff.
