Event description

Future Me Talk: Setting Up/Managing a Business

At Crosshall Junior School, we run a 'Future Me Curriculum'. This enables pupils to think about their futureselves. A big part of this is hearing from professionals. In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

We will have a group of interested pupils. We can be adaptable about dates and times any time between September and December. Last year, we had 26 successful talks and are now looking to provide more.
