The event was created by Gerry Stewart for 25 students at St Maurice's High School aged Age 16 - 17.

Event description

Business Awareness to Inspire students and enable them to learn more about the world of business from business professionals

Bringing sectors and jobs to life and inspire young people to consider their career options and raise aspirations through offering real insight regarding daily duties of a specific job or talking about a day in the life in a particular sector.
There will be 25 pupils attending. Initially, a 20 minute intro from you - the business Leader regarding your background and work within your business thereafter pupils work through a desk-bound task in their small teams. The task will be associated to your area of expertise. Pupils normally feedback via flip-chart paper. The task is aimed at pupils in 5th 6th year studying a business topic. I can supply examples of topics such as staff motivation, HR, business start-up, marketing etc
The aim of the session is to "Bring Business to Life"
