Event description
Inspire our students
Arrival between 8:15 and 08:40, please; this is an event in two parts:
Careers Speed Dating
Volunteers will be questioned about their jobs by small groups of Year 9 (13 to 14 years old) students, in a sequence of 7-minute “speed dates”. This part of the event is from 08:55 til 10:55. No prep required; the students are provided with suggested questions.
Practice Interviews
Volunteers will be interviewing students from Year 11 (15-16 years old), one-to-one, as if they had applied for a job. We’ll provide some generic employability questions (on time-keeping, appearance, attitude, etc;), as well as a feedback form. This part of the event is from 11:10 to 13:10.
