The event was created by Simone Stocks for 200 students at Ark Acton Academy aged Age 14 - 17.
Event description
We would be delighted if you could join our careers carousel (careers fair) for our Year 10 & 12 students
Business leaders from local businesses sought to join our career fairs
Companies are invited to come along and set up a stall in our sixth form centre and bring along business cards, leaflets or technology to show case their industry to students.
Students will have the opportunity to informally approach lots of different employers, talk to them personally and ask questions. This event will be an invaluable opportunity for our students to find out from employers about work, employment and skills that are valued in the workplace. Many do not have friends and family in different careers that they can ask so this will fulfil a great need. A keynote address will be given by Sir Keith Ajegbo, Chairman of the Stephen Lawrence Trust.
