The event was created by Jessica Abbotts for 300 students at Hillcrest School A Specialist Maths and Computing College and Sixth Form Centre aged Age 11 - 16.
Event description
Come join our annual Careers Fair where students will talk informally to businesses and organisations.
Companies will set up stalls in a space set up by the school and may bring business cards, leaflets or some technology to showcase to students. Students will have the opportunity to informally approach lots of different employers, talk to them personally and ask questions. It is important to note that there should be no expectations of any job opportunities being offered by business leaders at a careers fair but this is a great way for students to experience a wide range of businesses in their local community and for businesses to begin to build their talent pipeline.
