Event description

Enterprise Day

Aim of the day: To give students an idea of entrepreneurship by developing a product/service idea and pitching it to the volunteers.

Whilst the event runs from approx 08:30 to 3:10pm. Volunteers do not have to stay all day if they cannot.

The students will be split into classes of approx 30 and then into groups of 4-6 and develop the idea for the first 2-3 school hours. 1-2 volunteers shall stay in one classroom supporting the students with their thinking, team management and other issues arising, by sharing their experience and giving tips) Ideally you stay for the development phase so you can see your groups through.
After the development the students will run a small fair and then pitch their ideas to the students and remaining volunteers. So please do stay if you can.

At the end of the day, staff and volunteers will be prize giving and ideally 1-2 volunteers can say some closing words.
