Event description
Inspiring students in STEM career pathways
In this session, business leaders inspire students by sharing their own career history. Students are part of a programme with the Southern Universities Network and Avonbourne Trust, looking to inspire students to Higher Education and career pathways which they may not have considered due to their circumstances at home. This is an early intervention programme to support students who might otherwise find it difficult to fulfil their potential. The group are of mixed academic ability, so a broad view of opportunities needs to be considered. If there are any short practical tasks or challenges that can be included that would also be advantageous.
