Event description
Inspire our students
Volunteers are asked to be mentors for a day, as they work with a group of primary school kids (age 11), on their first day of getting used to the big school; this takes the form of 6 interactive sessions spread across the day, with the volunteers having roles to play in each EG judging a schoolbag-pack contest, telling the students about where you work, encouraging them as they tackle tasks set by their teacher. Arrival at 08:00 for Volunteer Briefing; day runs from 09:00 to 15:00 (lunch is provided); this is a companion to the event below.
