The event was created by Tanya Starkey for 50 students at Callander Primary School aged Age 10 - 11.
Event description
Inspire our students
We are looking for speakers who have a background in the leisure or health industries that could come along to speak to the children about their careers as part of our health week. The visit would consist of speaking to one or two groups of children for up to an hour. It could be organised for any time during the week beginning the 4th June and could take place anytime between 9.15am and 3pm.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
