Event description

Inspire our students

P4-7 Composite class Tourism talk

Bringing sectors and jobs to life and inspire young people to consider their career options and raise aspirations through offering real insight regarding daily duties of a specific job or talking about a day in the life in a particular sector.

My class are looking at 'Beautiful Scotland' as a topic which is focussed on the tourism within Scotland. The class would love to hear more about tourism as a business, the possible roles/jobs and/or Scottish places of interest.

The learners really respond to speakers and are fascinated by the wide array of jobs. It would be great to have a speaker come out and do a short session (45 minutes) and answer some questions. Learners would gain a wider insight into tourism as whole and hopefully more specific job roles/tourism within Scotland.
