About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Colette Futcher for 25 students at Holmfirth High School aged Age 14 - 15.

Event description

Work Experience De-Brief sessions for Year 10 students following 2 weeks out of school.
A Facilitator from business leads the sessions.

Following a 2 week work experience placement students have a de-brief session. The small group (6-8 students) are encouraged by the group Facilitator to reflect on their placement and share their experiences with the rest of the group. Students find their own placement (with support from school) so it is something they are interested in. Students are taken off time-table for approx 30mins. The business Faciltator encourages the group and discusses if they have had a true experience of the work sector.
