Interactive Careers Fair
On 21st March 2018 we will be holding our annual careers fair at The Academy of St Nicholas Speke Liverpool.
Rather than a usual recruitment drive for school leavers we want to use the fair as an opportunity for all students to find out about / speak to some of our top employers in the North West. I am inviting businesses to come and have a stand at the event and would love this to be as interactive as possible. I also plan to have a range of career sectors and a mix of small, medium and large business represented.
This will help all of our students from Year 7 upwards in making decisions about option choices, as well as helping our older students in Years 10, 11 and in Year 12 and 13 who are making bigger more life changing choices about their next career moves.
Also, as part of our ongoing commitment to the wider community we will be inviting a number of local primary schools to attend.
The date for the event is Wednesday 21st March and with approximate timings will run from 9.15 until 2.50.
I am interested in hearing from employers who recognise the value in engaging with schools and the difference it can make to a young persons journey, to be inspired, motivated, challenged and driven. In return you will see our Academy as thriving, ambitious and engaging.
