Event description

Young Enterprise Tenner Challenge

The Young Enterprise Tenner Challenge provides a highly interactive way for students in S1 - S3 to develop employability skills, personal knowledge and career readiness, using real money to take calculated risks in business.

Students are pledged £10 and have one month to set up a business - coming up with an idea of a product or service they can sell and gain first-hand experience of what it’s like to be an entrepreneur.

The challenge runs from: 12 February to 16 March 2018.

We aim to encourage young people to develop their business and entrepreneurial skills. Showcase the ways young people can grow in confidence, resilience whilst developing leadership skills.

We are looking for some engaging professionals with entrepreneurial experience to speak at our working lunch launch event on the 19th February and possible mentor a team throughout the challenge, either via email, video conference or face-to-face. We normally have around 8 teams taking part.
